“Why Wait?” Trevor’s note was short and simple and arrived with a beautiful basket of flowers. Most importantly, the two little words accomplished their purpose - to make Estela smile and persuade her to go out with him. For years, Trevor had visited the same salon, and over time, he had became friends with the stylists. On one of those trips, he couldn't help but notice Estela, a new employee with dark eyes and a beautiful smile. Hollie, Trevor’s close friend and another stylist, went to work hooking the two up. Estela wanted to take her time getting to know Trevor as a friend first. But, with Hollie’s help and Trevor’s romantic gestures, Estela conceded to a first date.
He took her out on Valentine's Day to a Mexican Restaurant, and it turned out to be a great date. Three and a half years later, Estela and Trevor were still an item. Shortly before Christmas, Trevor got down on one knee and proposed. By then, Estela needed no convincing. Her answer was a happy "yes."
The two tied the knot on October 10th in a ceremony at the United Methodist Church, followed by a reception at the Ramada Convention Center in Columbus. Surrounded by their family and friends, they had the wedding of their dreams, a truly beautiful and unforgettable day.
